Geisha entertain guests at banquets by performing a variety of arts. 5.RE-DELTA
Wota-gei performer’s unit “Re-delta”
“Wota-gei” refers to dancing and chiming in to music to support idols, with ”Wota" being an abbreviation of "otaku," and the term came to be known as "ota-gei" or "wota-gei."
Today, influenced by these videos, more and more people are performing Wota-gei not only in Japan but overseas as well, and Wota-gei has evolved into an independent performance on a different level from supporting idols. Overseas, there are even world championships for the genre, known as glow stick dance.
